Steady Leadership for Portage County’s Future
Continuing the Work
Serving Portage County over the past eight years has been a privilege. This spring, I am asking for your vote to continue this work—focused on infrastructure, safety, fiscal responsibility, and long-term planning.
LOOKING AHEAD
-

Portage County Health Care Center
The challenges facing the Health Care Center required decisive action. After extensive due diligence, the County Board approved a sale to an entity capable of expanding services, increasing beds, investing in facilities, and ensuring long-term stability for this essential community resource.
-

Jail & Law Enforcement Center
For over 20 years, Portage County has delayed action on a new jail and restorative justice facility, costing millions. The County Board has now approved conceptual and schematic design work, moving us closer to a modern, cost-effective solution. Further delay will only increase costs.
-

Courthouse Remodel
The courthouse remodel is long overdue. County staff and consultants have developed a workable, cost-effective design to modernize facilities and improve security—ensuring the courthouse serves Portage County well for decades.
