Public Service
Over the past several years, I have served Portage County as County Board Chair and briefly as Portage County Executive. Previously, I served on the County Board, the County Board of Adjustment, and as a volunteer member of a special committee reviewing construction-related projects. These efforts have been focused on public service in the best interests of Portage County.

Portage County requires and deserves experienced leadership—leadership fully invested in our operations, projects, and long-term plans. During my service, I have developed a deep understanding of both our farm community’s immediate needs and the critical challenges facing our urban areas.
A Vision for the Future
The challenge of any leadership election is determining who can best bring the skills, respect, knowledge, and vision necessary to create a secure future for Portage County and the generations that follow. As a public servant, this is my goal.
